William T. Herrscher McKinney, Texas
William Herrscher joined the firm of Boyd‑Veigel, P.C. in May 2003. Born in Dallas on May 12, 1962, he makes his home in McKinney, Texas. He is licensed to practice law in both Texas and Oklahoma. After graduating from Baylor University with a B.A. in Business Administration, Mr. Herrscher spent a semester in Oxford, England at University College studying law. Upon returning from his studies in Oxford, he received his Juris Doctor at S.M.U. School of Law and M.B.A. from S.M.U. Cox School of Business. Mr. Herrscher completed his studies a semester early graduating December 1989. He was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1990. Mr. Herrscher is a trial attorney specializing in consumer, commercial, and insurance litigation. He also works in the fields of corporate law, probate, and real estate. Mr. Herrscher has successfully resolved a range of litigation matters, including: construction defects, contract disputes, sale of goods, partnership disputes, tortious interference claims and unfair competition, bad faith insurance claims handling, real estate fraud and misrepresentation, credit reporting errors, collection matters, violations of noncompetition agreements, landlord/tenant and other matters involving the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. He is a member of the Collin County Bar Association, State Bar of Texas and Oklahoma Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Northern, Western and Eastern Districts of Texas, in all state courts in Texas and in Oklahoma. Always a sport enthusiast and son of a major league baseball player, he attended Baylor University on a varsity baseball scholarship. Mr. Herrscher is married to Reverend Leslie Herrscher, a 2004 graduate of SMU Perkins School of Theology and Associate Pastor at Stonebridge Methodist Church. He enjoys playing golf and taking his wife and two sons, William and Jacob Thomas (J.T.), on outdoor adventure trips.
